EEE Department Facilities
The laboratory infrastructure of the department is excellent with state of art equipments and software related to the field of Engineering. The extensive facilities available in the laboratories can be utilized for research work; in addition to the lab courses as per the affiliating university requirement for UG. The laboratories are well equipped with modern training facilities that cater to the requirements of the University syllabus as well as to architect the learning experience. This Department plays a vital role in training students of other branches of engineering too. The department has well established laboratories like Workshop lab, electrical machine lab, power electronics lab and electrical simulation lab.
Laboratories
- Workshop Lab
In this laboratory, we trained our students to carry out the faults, assemble and dismantle our home appliances like fan, induction stove, grinder, mixer grinder.
- Electrical Machines Lab
In this laboratory, we teach our students how to check the performances of heavy electrical machines like DC motors, Dc generators, AC motors, Alternators and Transformers etc.,
- Power Electronics Lab
Here, we prepare the students, how to interconnect home/industrial appliances with power electronic drives.
- Electrical Simulation Lab
In this laboratory, we instruct and cogent the students to draw the simple electrical circuits and block diagrams in PC with MATLAB/ Simulink software. That is most helpful to find out the practical problems/output of the circuits in a safe manner.
