Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, FX Polytechnic College, Tirunelveli. As a well-known fact, we cannot imagine the world without Electricity, and nowadays, the Electrical and Electronic Devices have become essential and inevitable part of our daily lives.
At present the role of EEE department is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers.
The Department is active in organizing the In-plant training, Industrial Visits, regular seminars, Guest lectures, Skill Training, various Workshops and Technical symposiums on latest technologies for the growth and development of Faculty and Students.
The Department has well equipped laboratories with confest equipment in Electrical Machines Lab, Electrical Simulations Lab, Power Electronics Lab and Electronics Lab.
Our Department students are also highly encouraged to implement their innovative ideas with the help of the expert faculty members and the available exclusive research lab facilities in the department.
